Steffen Senger grew up in southwest Germany, near the town of Baden-Baden.

After secondary school, he studied theatre, psychology and art history in Munich and had his first singing lessons.

His first job in the theatre led him to the Ruhr area, to the Theater Oberhausen. Further stop-offs included the Musiktheater im Revier in Gelsenkirchen, the former municipal theatre in Nuremberg and the Pfalztheater in Kaiserslautern. Even as early as in his Gelsenkirchen role, Steffen Senger was able to gain experience as a director, soon managing numerous productions in all genres of theatre. Opera, drama, musicals and operettas – from Passau to Mönchengladbach, from Würzburg to Hildesheim and even in Salvador da Bahia – all expanded his repertoire. At the same time, he was able to expand his experience in the field of cultural management and continued his work as an actor on stage.

After five years of directorship at the Eduard von Winterstein Theater and a few years as an independent director, he moved to the High Black Forest for family reasons, where he spent three years as head scheduler working for Konzertdirektion Landgraf.

Ines Funk (Show band, Folklore musician, Duo, Pianist, Musical entertainer, Singer)

Ines Funk is the youngest of five children and got in touch with music early in her childhood. After a lot of musical engagement like piano and voice lessons she attended the University of Saarland in 2011 to study Music management.

Beside other projects she managed she started and lead one festival named ‘Saarklang’ for the national day of music in combination with the radio channel ‘Saarländischer Rundfunk’. She also did a successful semester abroad in Michigan, USA. 

After working in the State Theater of Saarbrücken and the Music house Knopp she started working for the Youth-State-Symphony-Orchestra of Saarland as the organizational and (later) artistic leader. One of the biggest concerts was a visit of Germany’s chancellor of the Confederation Angela Merkel in 2015. 

Since November 2016 she is working at sea chefs and even though the love to West Germany isn’t gone, Berlin is her new home on paper and in her heart.

Monika Vollmer (Klanghaus-/Studio Manager, Musical Leader, Sound & Light Technician, Mobile Sound Technician, Allrounder Sound Technician)

Monika Holubová comes from a tiny border town Žacléř in Czech Republic. After she finished her secondary school of economics in Trutnov, she was searching for possibilities to develop her passion for singing and music generally. Like this, in the year 2009 she got a place in the Jazz-Conservatory in Prague. During this her desire to experience adventures caught her up and after two years, she was engaged as a show band-singer in the Mein Schiff fleet for the first time. This step was the beginning of a long journey as a singer of the board band and the jazz-duo till a management position which brought her after five years back to the shore.

Elisabeth Jünemann (Theater Manager, Light Technician, Theatre Technician, Allrounder Technician)

Elisabeth Jünemann grew up in Lübeck and, as the daughter of a naval officer, fell in love with seafaring whilst practically still in the cradle.

She discovered her enthusiasm for dance and theatre while still at school and was greatly involved in theatre productions from an early age. After secondary school, she moved to Munich and completed a three-year training course as a musical actress. Subsequently, she worked primarily as a dancer, among others in "Fledermaus" at the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz in Munich and in "The Gypsy Baron" at the Freie Landestheater Bayern.

She played in various shows at Movie Park Germany, where she worked towards the end as the dance captain and choreographic assistant for the musical "Witchboard", amongst other shows. Elisabeth worked in the artistic administration office for "MAMMA MIA!" at the Palladium Theater in Stuttgart and for "A Christmas Carol", staged at the Theater am Marientor in Duisburg.

From 2008 to 2010, Elisabeth was responsible for the artistic quality of "We Will Rock You" at the Apollo Theater in Stuttgart, in her role as assistant resident director. Subsequently, she took over as assistant director and evening director at "A Christmas Carol" at the Musical Dome, Cologne.

In early 2011 came Elizabeth's first stint aboard the Mein Schiff fleet. Altogether, she sailed for over three years as a theatre manager for sea chefs and AIDA and was even part of a 2013 commissioning crew. In 2014, she decided to end her active service on board, to return once more to work on land.

After a year in the production office of the hit show Apassionata, Elisabeth rejoined sea chefs in October 2015.

Jasmin Kraus (Actors, Artists, DJs)

As a child, Jasmin Kraus had the dream of becoming a dancer. As a member of the extra ballet of the Altenburg-Gera Theater, she gained her first experience working in the theater and, after finishing her education at the John Cranko Ballet Academy in Stuttgart, Jasmin received engagements for theater productions, musical tours and events. The desire to combine the dancer profession and to travel to other countries, brought Jasmine also to engagements on cruise liners. As a member of the Company of the Deutsches Fernsehballett Jasmin was later working for TV productions on ARD, MDR and ORF. After her career as a professional dancer, Jasmin started working for the management of the ensemble and was further more working as a project manager and artist supervisor for TV- and opera productions.

Due to her experience as an artist on board, it is a great pleasure for her to work with sea chefs to pass on this unique experience to artists.

 

Susanne Reumann (Entertainment Manager, Entertainment Administrator, Dresser, Broadcast Technician, Technical Manager)

Susanne Reumann was raised in the south of Germany. She has been studying cultural science as well as cultural management and education. Different working stations have been in Bayreuth and Heidelberg for various projects like the „Festival of Young Artists Bayreuth“ or an event location. Furthermore she has been working with students as a tutor for cultural theory.

Longing for new experiences and seeing the world she has been starting in 2014 as an Entertainment Manager on board the Mein Schiff 1. In the following years she has been part of the team for the start up of Mein Schiff 4 and could repeat that amazing and special experience in 2016 with the Mein Schiff 5.

After almost three years on board the Mein Schiff fleet she has changed to the shoreside team to use her experiences and knowledge for the recruiting and support of the crew on board.
